Photo and Media Release PHOTO, VIDEO, AUDIO, AND MEDIA RELEASE AGREEMENTEffective Date: June 1, 2026
1. PARTIESThis Photo, Video, Audio, and Media Release Agreement ("Release") is entered into by and between:
Digital Realty LLC, doing business as Impact Academies USA – Charlotte ("Academy"), and
The undersigned parent or legal guardian ("Parent") on behalf of the participating student ("Student").
2. PURPOSEThe Academy may photograph, video record, audio record, livestream, or otherwise capture images, likenesses, voices, projects, achievements, and participation of students during classes, camps, workshops, competitions, demonstrations, events, and other Academy activities.
This Release governs the Academy's permission to create and use such materials.
3. DEFINITIONSFor purposes of this Release, "Media" includes:
- Photographs
- Video recordings
- Audio recordings
- Livestream recordings
- Digital images
- Student project screenshots
- Student-created projects
- Interviews
- Testimonials
- Promotional materials
- Educational materials
- Printed publications
- Digital publications
Media may include a student's:
- Image
- Likeness
- First name
- Voice
- Statements
- Participation in activities
- Educational projects and creations
The Academy will not intentionally publish a student's home address, personal contact information, medical information, or other sensitive personal information.
4. VOLUNTARY CONSENTParticipation in Academy programs is not conditioned upon granting media permissions.
Parents may grant or withhold consent at their discretion.
A decision not to grant media permission will not affect enrollment eligibility, educational opportunities, or participation in Academy programs.
5. CONSENT OPTIONSPlease select one option below.
OPTION A – FULL MEDIA CONSENTI authorize the Academy to photograph, record, and use my student's image, likeness, voice, first name, projects, and participation for:
- Educational purposes
- Academy publications
- Marketing materials
- Printed advertising
- Digital advertising
- Website content
- Social media content
- Newsletters
- Public relations materials
- Community outreach
- Promotional campaigns
This authorization applies without geographic limitation and may be used worldwide.

OPTION B – INTERNAL EDUCATIONAL USE ONLYI authorize the Academy to photograph, record, and use my student's image, likeness, voice, first name, projects, and participation solely for internal Academy purposes, including:
- Classroom documentation
- Program administration
- Staff training
- Parent communications
- Internal educational records
I do not authorize public marketing or advertising use.

If no option is selected, the Academy will treat this Release as a denial of marketing-related consent.
6. PERMITTED USESWhen permission is granted, Media may be used by the Academy in:
- Academy websites
- Social media platforms
- Facebook
- Instagram
- YouTube
- LinkedIn
- TikTok
- Printed brochures
- Flyers
- Advertisements
- Press releases
- News articles
- Community presentations
- Educational presentations
- Enrollment materials
- Promotional campaigns
- Other Academy communications
Media may be edited, cropped, resized, combined with other content, formatted, or adapted for publication.
The Academy will not intentionally use Media in a misleading or defamatory manner.
7. STUDENT PROJECTSWhen permission is granted, the Academy may display or publish:
- Robotics projects
- Coding projects
- Game development projects
- Design projects
- Engineering projects
- Digital creations
- Competition entries
- Student achievements
The Academy may identify projects using a student's first name, age, or grade level unless otherwise requested by a parent.
8. COMPENSATIONParents and students acknowledge that no compensation, royalties, fees, or other payments shall be owed for the creation or use of Media authorized under this Release.
All authorized uses are voluntary and provided without expectation of compensation.
9. OWNERSHIPAll photographs, recordings, and Media created by or for the Academy shall remain the property of the Academy.
The Academy may store, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, and archive Media consistent with permissions granted under this Release.
10. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMSParents understand that Media may be published on third-party platforms including social media services.
The Academy cannot control how third parties may view, share, repost, copy, download, archive, or otherwise interact with publicly available content.
Once Media has been publicly distributed, complete removal from all locations may not be possible.
11. REVOCATION OF CONSENTParents may revoke previously granted consent by submitting written notice to:
charlotte@impactacademiesusa.com
Revocation will apply prospectively after reasonable processing time.
Revocation will not require the Academy to:
- Recall printed materials;
- Remove previously distributed publications;
- Retrieve content distributed to third parties;
- Remove archived materials maintained for legitimate business purposes;
- Eliminate historical records already created before revocation.
The Academy will make reasonable efforts to discontinue future use following receipt and processing of the request.
12. RELEASE OF CLAIMSTo the fullest extent permitted by law, the Parent releases and discharges the Academy, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, successors, and assigns from claims arising from authorized use of Media under this Release, including claims related to:
- Use of likeness
- Use of image
- Use of voice
- Publication of photographs
- Publication of recordings
- Promotional use
- Advertising use
This Release does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
13. PRIVACYThe Academy's collection, storage, and use of Media is also governed by its Privacy Policy.
Parents are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy available on the Academy website.
14. TERMThis Release remains effective until:
- The student is no longer enrolled;
- Consent is revoked by the Parent; or
- The Academy discontinues use of the Media;
except for previously authorized uses, archived records, and materials already published or distributed.
15. ACKNOWLEDGMENTBy signing below, the Parent acknowledges that:
- They are the student's parent or legal guardian;
- They have authority to execute this Release;
- They have read and understand this Release;
- They voluntarily grant or deny permissions as indicated above.
